At the time of this project, two new sports were expected to be introduced to the Olympic games in 2012: Ultra Marathon Running and Ultra Mountain Bike Trail Racing. Split22 is a solution for top athletes to carry hydration and nutrition during these endurance races.

Endurance athletes need to stay light and carry as little as possible. The current industry standard of 70-oz. of hydration exceeds the capacity long-distance endurance athletes are looking for. And a single 70-oz. pack half-full is a sloshing nightmare. Split22 chamberizes the load, and gives the user options for fuel while keeping them light on their feet.
